Someone ran over a mailbox last night near the corner of Lakewood and Sawyer.  It looks like they were trying to back into the driveway (at a high rate of speed) to turn around.
The mailbox post was broken off about a foot off the ground, and the post and box were dragged about 30 feet into the driveway.  A small piece of the vehicle was left at the scene.
It appears to be a brake vent for a BMW (possibly a silver 5 series).

If anyone has information regarding this incident, please let me know.
