Public Safety Day is Saturday September 15th from 10am to 3pm at Leesville Road High School parking lot.
You should have gotten a flyer on your mailbox with details.

Dear Springdale Neighbors,

As you read the email below from Mike Greenham, please keep in mind that these are the firemen that volunteer to serve our neighborhood. They not only respond to emergencies for us but also help with the July 4th parade at the Springdale Pool and the Public Safety Day at Leesville which is on September 15th this year. They are raising money for much needed equipment and are asking for our help by purchasing $5 raffle tickets. There are over 300 households in Springdale so if just 100 purchased one ticket each, they could raise $500 toward their goal. Please help if you can.

Springdale Community,

The members of the Durham Highway FD would like to ask our neighbors for their support by purchasing one of our fundraising raffle tickets. If you would like to help support our efforts by buying one of the $5 tickets please let us know or stop by the station. This is your Fire Department on Norwood Rd. We are raising funds for a few projects, the most important is to purchase a station alerting system. This is the system that is used to notify us of a call. It wakes us up at night by turning on the radio, night lights, that light the way to the trucks. It's a critical system to the community.

In addition to being available at the station on Norwood Rd, we would be happy to drop them off as well as have them available at the Fitness 19 this weekend.
