Dear Springdale Estates Homeowners,

It's that time of year again for our annual Homeowners' Meeting. Please join us at Tabernacle Baptist Church on Leesville Rd on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:00pm. This is a very important meeting for several reasons. First, we need to fill a vacant Secretary position on the board and also elect a new Treasurer and President. These positions are elegible for all homeowners who are currently up to date with their annual dues. Please read the following position descriptions to see if you are interested in stepping up to help serve Springdale. 

President- presides over the board and all meetings. Instrumental in helping the treasurer keep the budget in order and supervising projects approved by the HOA. Point person for communication with homeowners and those who seek information concerning Springdale Estates.

Treasurer- responsible for keeping the budget for the HOA including collection of dues, maintaining checking account and checkbook, paying accounts on time, checking HOA P.O. Box for correspondence. It is very helpful if you know Excel well or a similar program that is easy to update on a monthly basis. Accounting experience is helpful but not necessary.

Secretary- keeps minutes at meetings and is responsible for posting events on signage at each entrance. Also keeps documents, forms and historical information pertaining to the HOA.

The second reason for the importance of this meeting is to discuss the budget for next year which is always a popular topic. And last, there are several construction projects that will impact the future of Springdale Estates and awareness of these will be helpful for all of our homeowners. 

Please talk with your neighbors about this meeting and invite them to attend with you. It is disappointing to have the same 20 members attend and help with decisions only to have the other 280 state their opinion individually to me after the fact. I ask each of you to make your best effort to attend and be involved in your community. I look forward to seeing you all on November 5th.
