PORCH Raleigh Springdale/Baybridge starts MONDAY

Just a reminder that the first PORCH Raleigh Springdale/Baybridge pick-up is MONDAY, MARCH 17. I will be by around 9:30-10am to pick up your donations for the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle BackPack Buddies program! Just leave them on your porch!

If you would like to participate in this simple program, PLEASE EMAIL ME ASAP! (xxx@xxx.com). I would like to have a list of participants that I can email monthly rather than using neighborhood email lists. I do appreciate everyone's understanding while I set this program up!  

IT'S SO EASY! Once a month I will collect donations of food from YOUR FRONT PORCH! When you're at the store, pick up one or two extra things from the provided list to donate. Donate as little or as much as you like. Put them in a bag and I will pick them up and deliver to the Food Shuttle so they have a significant monthly supply of donations.
Super easy, right? These are the kinds of things needed in backpacks:

*   Granola bars & Cereal bars
*   Pop-top canned veggies & Pop-top canned fruits (NO soft tops)
*   Pop-top meals (Chef Boyardee, etc)
*   Easy Mac, Ramen, Cup o' Noodles
*   Instant oatmeal & grits
*   Juice Boxes (NO pouches) & Shelf-stable milk boxes (white & chocolate, regular & soy)
*   Healthy snacks: goldfish packs, pretzels, popcorn, cracker sandwiches, individual raisin boxes
*   NO CANDY OR JUNK FOOD PLEASE!
