Springdale Estates is having their fifth Thanksgiving food drive on Monday, November 17th.  Last year we donated over 351 pounds of turkeys and non perishable food. We seem to go up 100 pounds each year so I am hoping for 500 pounds this year!  We will again take our donations to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.  Please bring frozen turkeys the morning of November 17th along with any non-perishable, non-glass food items to Debra Burke's house at 8913 Willow Wood Court between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.  If you would like to drop off non perishables now, there will be a blue plastic box at my mailbox to donate early.
