Music and Nuts If you are interested in Barbershop Quartet music or buying fresh NC pecans to support said music, I know a guy... Directory 177 listings have been confirmed. Nine volunteers have stepped forward to help contact the remaining 180. We could use some additional volunteers. There have been reports of bounced emails trying to reply. ISPs are getting stricter on what emails they allow through, trying to reduce spam. My current hypothesis is that the bounces are due to the double forwarding I had set up. : directory@springdaleestates.org --> xxx@xxx.xxx --> xxx@xxx.xxx I have changed it to a single forward: directory@springdaleestates.org --> xxx@xxx.xxx So, if you have had a bounce, try again. If it bounces yet again, send it directly to xxx@xxx.xxx and let me know things are still broken. You can also call xxx-xxx-xxxx and leave a message on my phone. Volunteers There are several vacancies on our committees. Neighborhood Watch Coordinator and welcoming committee are two. If you are interested in serving on ANY committee, please let a board member know. We will find room for you. Email There have also been reports of folks not getting all of the Springdale emails. For a long time now, I have been adding a unique number (e.g. this one will be 370) to the subject line. You should be getting every sequential number. If you miss one, check your junk/spam folder. The website will (eventually) have the message posted, but feel free to contact us directly if you miss one. #355 is somewhat unique. There were several versions of that message, but everyone should have gotten at least one. I continued to use 355 for subsequent followup messages as not everyone got the followups and if I used a new number, those that did not get the followup would think they missed a message. ---> Paul MacDougal webmaster
