My name is Joe Mabry. I live on Wood Vine Court here in Springdale Estates I am 13 years old and attend Hilburn Academy. I will be attending Leesville High School in the fall. This past Christmas I started an organization that helps the homeless. On our first project near Christmas, we were able to put together 50 bags that had clothes, food, socks, gloves, hats, food gift cards etc. It was a huge success and I'm ready to do it again. On March 15th we will be heading out and delivering our bags to homeless people around Downtown Raleigh. We need your help! I realize that not everyone can make a monetary donation so we have come up with an idea. On February 28th I will be coming around the neighborhood and collecting items. This is the same idea as the PORCH project that helps give food to our local schools. We are asking you to leave any of the following items that you may have around your house out on your porch on February 28th: 
*   Coats 
*   Sweaters 
*   Sweatshirts/ Fleece (Preferably Large) 
*   Sweatpants (Preferably Large)
*   Scarves 
*   Gloves 
*   Toboggans 
*   Socks 
*   Toothpaste 
*   Rain Ponchos                                                                                                                                                     
*   Travel sized tissues 
*   Nail Clippers
*   Combs/brushes
