RESOLUTION OF OPEN BUSINESS ITEM:

At last November's SEA Annual Meeting, a homeowner recommendation was received proposing Architectural Committee member term limits.  (We do not have term limit requirements on any SEA committees.)  The Board of Directors considered this recommendation and determined on June 22 that implementing such a proposal would not be in the best interest of SEA for the following reasons:
(1) We have experienced past difficulties getting volunteers to serve on SEA committees.
(2) The Architectural Committee requires members with specialized skills.
(3) When SEA has a team that is functioning well on that committee, the BOD sees no reason to hinder that performance by imposing arbitrary term limit restrictions.
