ANNOUNCING CALL FOR SPRINGDALE ESTATES VOLUNTEER CLEAN-UP COMMITTEE Now don't let those words scare you off! This is as painless as any "committee" could possibly be. Here's the scoop. From time to time (actually, just twice in the past year), we have minor situations develop in Springdale Estates that require a small "clean-up" to keep our community looking beautiful. These matters should be reported to info@springdaleestates.org, or SEA's President should be alerted. Then, civic-minded property owners are asked to address the problem. For example, problems we addressed in the past year were (1) a small limb broken off a cherry tree near the Big Lake guardrail, and (2) a pile of building material trash some generous person left for us sitting by that same guardrail. Both problems were resolved in less than 30 minutes by just one person. We are looking for neighbors who will agree to have their names placed on a list SEA can contact when these minor situations occur. You are not signing up to paint the fences, pick rocks out of the lake, or cut the grass! Just simple, quick, small clean-up tasks. And, of course, if you are called, and it is not convenient, or doesn't sound like something you would be willing to do, you just say "No", and we will call another name on the list. So if you would like to help keep Springdale Estates in top condition, join our "Clean-Up" Committee. You'll feel good about volunteering, and your neighbors will appreciate your civic-minded spirit! You can notify info@springdaleestates.org if you would like to volunteer, or email or call Don Mullins (xxx@xxx.net, 919-xxx-xxxx) with questions or to sign-up. Also, we will have a sign-up sheet at SEA's Annual Meeting Tuesday night.
