This month the Springdale Garden Club attended a presentation by local author, Helen Yoest at the JC Raulston Arboretum. Her latest book Good Berry/Bad Berry included lots of information about edible berries from plants you wouldn't think of eating. We also got to taste some berry jams.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, March 1st at the home of Van and Irene Cotter, 8329 Lakewood Drive. Social 6:30-7, Meeting 7-9

Topic:  Van Cotter will give a presentation:  Farmer-to-Farmer - Helping Green Bean Farmers in Egypt and Mushroom Farmers in Nepal and Guatemala. 
The Garden Club is open to all residents of Springdale and Baybridge.  No gardening experience required! Please come join us.
